Put, by others, in the wrong place. It had little chance to survive. It fought back against the giant Day Lillies that tried to shade it out. It fought back.

Battered and worn, it survived. No, it isn't and never will be what it could have been. But it didn't give up when most would have said; "It is hopeless" and quit.

Perhaps not the most conventionally pretty flower in the growing area, it deserves only admiration. Indeed, in reality, it is truly beautiful.
